Our Story
Led by Nick Jackson and Jo Mohan, Spout Milk is Aotearoa’s first-ever commercial kegged milk business, transforming milk distribution by replacing single-use plastic bottles with 100% reusable milk kegs.
By focusing on circular economy principles, Spout has successfully eliminated over 100,000 plastic bottles from waste streams and prevented approximately 16,700 kg of CO2 emissions. Founded in 2019, our innovative keg system is now used by cafes, hotels, and corporate businesses across the South Island.
Our approach is not just environmentally impactful but also scalable, offering a practical solution to a widespread waste problem in Aotearoa.
